Feel sorry for those involved but you know. I'm in that grey area of 1600-1800 where I'm on both ends of the stick constantly, and I think this issue explains all the A class 2.0SRs in that category cuz they want every position handed to em. And it gets difficult, but I've watched too many people slam it in there and complain cuz their in 4th and the battle for 15th doesn't matter. Obviously that situation gets harder when the cars someone is trying to lap are battling and they have to find the time and place without losing their own time. I think that's the main point behind "blue flags don't matter" is that the car being lapped should never have to sacrifice his/her own race for the lapping car, and should be aware and make decisions that reduce the impact for both drivers, rather than staring at the mirrors and trying to get out of the way. I'm not saying you're wrong! But I think staying on line and communication (cuz we have that ability) is better than moving out of the way even if we're talking the back straight of nurb. Even in a straight line it's bloody terrifying sometimes. When you MOVE I now have to correct on the fly. I am trying to pass, so I have a passing mindset, so on the straight if I'm faster I'm going to have a run and I'm going to duck down to go by as you hold your line. I still think it's better to hotkey a "pass left" or "pass right" and stay on your line even on a straight.
